ANONMAILS Back to inbox

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ANONMAILS processes personal data when you use the temporary email service. ANONMAILS is designed to minimize the amount of information stored and to keep mailbox data for a short period of time.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for ANONMAILS is Albin S****.

Privacy and data protection inquiries can be sent to legal@anonmails.cc.

2. Information We Process

When you use ANONMAILS, the service may process the information necessary to provide your temporary mailbox, including:

ANONMAILS does not require you to create a user account or provide a permanent email address in order to use a temporary inbox.

3. Why We Process Information

Personal data is processed only where necessary for purposes such as:

4. Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, processing necessary to provide the temporary email service you request may be based on the performance of that service. Processing necessary for security, abuse prevention, and reliable operation may be based on our legitimate interests in protecting and operating ANONMAILS. Information may also be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

5. How Long We Keep Information

ANONMAILS mailboxes are designed to expire after approximately 30 minutes. Incoming messages are stored only for the lifetime of the mailbox and expired mailbox and message records are automatically removed from the active database.

ANONMAILS does not provide permanent email storage.

The active database is provided by Cloudflare D1. On the current service plan, Cloudflare maintains point-in-time recovery history for up to 7 days. Data removed from the active database may therefore technically remain recoverable through those recovery systems during that period.

6. Browser Storage

ANONMAILS uses browser local storage to keep the temporary mailbox address, access credentials, and expiration information on your device so that your temporary inbox can remain available while you use the service.

This storage is used for operation of the temporary mailbox, not for advertising or behavioral profiling.

7. Infrastructure Provider

ANONMAILS uses Cloudflare infrastructure, including Cloudflare Workers and D1, to operate the website and temporary email service. Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, as part of operating and securing its network.

8. International Data Transfers

Cloudflare operates internationally. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area and GDPR transfer rules apply, Cloudflare provides contractual safeguards for applicable transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

9. Sharing of Information

ANONMAILS does not sell personal information or email contents for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers required to operate the service or disclosed where ANONMAILS is legally required to respond to a valid request from a court, law enforcement authority, or other competent authority.

10. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability.

Because ANONMAILS does not maintain user accounts and temporary mailbox information is deleted quickly, information relating to a mailbox may no longer exist or may no longer be available when a request is received.

To make a privacy request, contact legal@anonmails.cc.

11. Complaints

If you believe your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the service, infrastructure, or applicable legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest update.

ANONMAILS is designed around short-lived mailboxes, data minimization, and limited retention rather than permanent storage or user profiling.
